Whipsnade is continuing to do well for new births.
Today saw the orange head of a baby Francois Langur clinging tightly to the mother. It was born yesterday.
There are now four flamingo chicks, the latest two look like they are only days old.
Any pics of the langur baby? Great news.Whipsnade is continuing to do well for new births.

Where can I find them?? I tend to stick close to the entrance due to poor mobility but would love to see these guys.

I never saw the sloths. Is it only accessible thru the train? They are in the old Sloth Bear enclosure. Near the exit to the passage thru Asia

The langur and babirusa are on the road that passes the flamingoes, the pelican lake and the Basecamp restaurant then curves around to the right. The old sloth bear enclosure
Or coming the other way round the zoo, past the farm, turning left after the elephants (before the tigers) the enclosure is then on the other side of the yak paddock.
The train doesn’t stop though you can see the enclosure from the far side if on it.
I’ve marked it on a grab of the whipsnade map attached. The train station is pretty good for orientation.
This is far more useful! Sorry if I’ve confused things.
No we just posted the same info at the same time!
Wonderful news regarding the zebra foal.
I do have a question about them, however. When I visited in May, I saw a one zebra in the main paddock with the waterbuck (although there could have been more, given how spacious the paddock is), and another in the part of the former moose enclosure opposite the chimpanzees. Were they separated due to the pregnancy, or has this been the case for a while and there is simply a third adult zebra in with the waterbuck?
Is there a better time to view them as when I went there was nobody to be seen

Thanks. I can’t remember what time I went but I did find it okay and the house was empty. The enclosure is very nice and the new monkey forest will be great when finished. They fed them just after 430pm when I was there on Saturday. But they were around in the house when I went just after lunch time too. They weren’t outside.
