Are they supposed to be getting Walrus?
Yes, in an extension of The Last Frontier that they’re already building (also featuring polar bears)

I don’t know a Micai....however I do know that Faunia have a male called Mirai....? Could that be who they’re referring to?
That was a typo from my side, it is indeed Mirai.
@Pertinax The Walruses are scheduled "only" for next year.
The temple is occasionally open to the public - it is the indoors for two of their females - Praya and Jana.
The modern indoors you’re referring to is actually a huge barn behind the massive open field you’re referring to - you can see the building (and the bulls if you’re lucky) from the train.
Thankyou. Another question, can you view the big elephant field from anywhere except on the train? I completely missed it as I didn't use the train- not that it mattered but interested to know if you can see it by overlooking from above the temple or something.
Between the elephant temple and the orangutan enclosure there is a ramp that leads up to a lookout point! You can see the enclosure fairly well from here, but I've never taken the train so I don't know how it compares. It's an impressive enclosure when it comes to the size, but from this lookout point it does look very empty.Thankyou. They will certainly be better than in Hodonin. The zoo is due to receive 3.0 Amur tigers from Zoo Hodonin (CZE) in late summer/autumn
Huh? I thought that at least tiger and lions had decent enclosures...They will certainly be better than in Hodonin.
The paddock is quite decent, but the interior spaces are not very large.Huh? I thought that at least tiger and lions had decent enclosures...
The new Last Frontier exhibits have opened, currently on show are
- Canadian beaver
- Puma (1.0 from Plzen)
- Steller's sea lion
- American black bear
- European brown bear
- Grey wolves
- European elk (currently just 1)
- Wapiti
- European marmot (only in the resort)
- European fallow deer (free-ranging)
Mackenzie wolves are currently behind the scenes with cubs, but should be combined with American black bears. Also behind the scenes are White-tailed deer and Skunks according to PD facebook.
