Any Southern Calamari Squid (Sepioteuthis australis) in captivity? I know most squids do poorly, but the Southern Calamari is in the same genus as the Bigfin Reef Squid (which seems to do fairly well), so it could possibly work? They would of course need more space than Bigfin Reefs due to their larger size.
Im pretty sure there was one held somewhere in Indonesia, Taman safari bogor perhaps?Just saw a wildlife special about bay cats, which are incredibly rare, only found in Borneo, and about which scientists know very, very little. Are any in captivity, anywhere in the world? I’d imagine not, but I’ve been surprised before.
I think one zoo in Indonesia has (had?) them.Just saw a wildlife special about bay cats, which are incredibly rare, only found in Borneo, and about which scientists know very, very little. Are any in captivity, anywhere in the world? I’d imagine not, but I’ve been surprised before.

I believe they were once kept at taman safari bogor for a short period of time. There has to be at least one place that has them as most photos are of a captive bay cat
