New play structures for gorillas.

In summary at the reopening we can discover :
- a new indoor space for Patas monkeys with a new perspective on Gorilla Island;
- completely redesigned climbing and play structures for gorilla family;
- new aviaries for some of our birds;
- the fully renovated main sea lion pool;
- a brand new space for you to discover the actions of association Beauval Nature.

As well as the dome or the vegetation has grown really well.

I don't like it too much and what looks really bad is that they did not replace the old building but just put something really uggly on it.

Were they free to tear down the old buiding (monument conservation?)? I don't know how it is in France, but here in Switzerland you can find the weirdest protection rules in such cases.
However: If you find this ugly, then what do you think of the indoor enclosures for apes at Wilhelma Stuttgart or the "nice" support masts in the outdoor enclosures for apes at Zoo Basle?;)

This building is not protected at all and not sure it is in good condition in for the animals.
I never visit Stuttgart and visited Basel before the new enclosures for apes so can't answer to you @zoomaniac but I confirm the new look of the building is really uggly in my opinion.

Small paragraph from an article published online. We learn a little more about the tunnel and the future hotel of the park.

"This is why Rodolphe Delord is already planning. The main entrance will be completely redone. This work will require nothing less than modifying the route of the current departmental road serving the site and digging a tunnel. A new hotel - number 4, not to mention the hotel residence - will be set up in Saint-Aignan, replacing the old hospital that Rodolphe Delord bought. A two-level car park should also see the light of day in place of the former Gérard Pasquier factory. All over the next two years. History of continuing to be the tourist engine of the Center-Val de Loire. And one of the top five zoos in the world, according to Tripadvisor. "
