Planet Zoo Planet Zoo!

To be honest, this is my biggest gripe with Planet Zoo. Even in Sandbox it takes half an hour to get a look at an animal. Why in Sandbox Mode I have to 'realistically' wait for a keeper to decide to carry a small box containing, apparently, a rhino across the zoo before I can have a look at it, but a building or tree appears in a second with two clicks I will never understand..!
It doesn't help if the game bugs and the keepers never bring the animals out of the Trading center.

I bet Frontier thinks its a wise guy for making animal placement "realistic" (read:complicated).

Indeed - which appears much more common in a brand-new zoo (i.e. the kind of zoo you would be in if you just want a quick look!).

Some Jurassic World Evolution 2 information that may be relevant to Planet Zoo, since it concerns aviaries:

- Pterosaurs will be free-flying (not looped animations) and will retain the ability to fly freely if they escape
- Free-flying needs minimum space requirements in order to work (I guess like minimum depth is needed for diving in the Planet Zoo's aquatic pack)
- Multiple pterosaur species are able to be mixed into a single aviary
- The pterosaurs use special sites in order to perch and rest
- It seems that the aviary floor areas are customisable
- Pterosaurs can use existing feeders and enrichment items

This all makes it look like some degree of free-flying aviary will be possible in Planet Zoo.

Haven't played the game in a little while, trying to get back into it, but I have a serious case of builder's block. Might check out other players for a bit to get inspiration.

I know how it feels like, hope you get into the game soon, also you should try mods to see of they improve your gameplay

I think that’s too soon. Modding always gets compromised whenever there’s a major update. My suggestion is to wait until Frontier stops updating PZ for good.

My problem is that I can't decide what I want to do, adding more options will make it harder. No mods for me at the moment.

I'd like to make something Moody Gardens inspired, but that's a big undertaking. For now I'm focusing on individual habitats and buildings, and I'm trying to use more types of animals.

now i'm really confused, people are saying the leak was false, another people are saying that the ladysigner posted a tweet about the dlc, and then she deleted it.

i don't know if i'm right or wrong, but i've heard some rumors in the forum, that we will get a new DLC and theme is North America, we will get the beaver, sea lion, alligator, moose and puma. and also new buildings

There's a fair chance it's right, a North American pack has long been leaked/rumored. If that's indeed the lineup that's not bad.

That lineup sounds pretty good, I would absolutely love more pinnipeds. Though if we do get North America I would really hope for finally the introduction of some large flying birds like bald eagles or California condors.
i think the bald eagle and the condor should be in the aviary pack, i saw someone in the forum who said that in december we will get an aviary pack, there are 20 birds, and planet zoo and san diego zoo have a good relation, and i think they make birds inspired by the san diego zoo's birds and add them in the game.

20 is a hell of a lot for a DLC pack but I would not complain. Hopefully it is varied in diversity of species and size.
