Pairi Daiza’s Lomako will be moving to another European zoo to become a breeding male. The zoo in question will be announced soon. This leaves Shomari, Tebogo and Indigo as the remaining gorillas in Pairi Daiza.

I heard he is moving to Gaia zoo in the Netherlands.
I totally agreeGreat news! Do you have a source for this?
The write-up from Paia Daiza mentions that he will now have 'reproductive potential'(or something like that) so he must be going to a breeding group. Gaia Park is the one that needs a new male. I'm just a bit surprised EEP have selected a male that isn't genetically more under-represented than Lomako. But with this choice maybe they hope by moving him they can move more young males to Paira Daiza as a result. London do need a male too but somehow it seems less likely to me that would be the location.Great news! Do you have a source for this?
In the annual lecture of the director of Blijdorp for the Vrienden van Blijdorp it was mentioned that gorilla male Nasibu will leave for Pairi Daiza in a few months to start a new breeding group over there.

Jabari was due to move to the Al Ain Zoo in the United Arab Emirates last autumn. After the move, the females will rejoin the group. Is there any solution for the two females at Apenheul now separated from their silverback and that young male causing trouble ? female Mfugaji, female Chama, male Jabari.
As it gives a date for the transfer- 26th January- then I'm presuming it is correct. Not sure if this is 100% correct, but gorilla database Gorillasland lists former Pairi Daiza resident Lomako as GaiaZoo's new silverback.
