Planet Zoo Planet Zoo!

We have information on what will be included in update 1.10: Planet Zoo - Update 1.10 coming 21 June
  • Interactive education stations for children, which include a height measuring station (in both giraffe and gorilla varieties), a soundboard station (plays an animal sound), and a pawprint station (for comparing hand size).
  • Guests can now take group photos.
  • Most of the game's animals have sniffing behaviors (the exceptions being the birds and reptiles, plus a few mammals like the hippos, rhinos, and pinnipeds).
  • Wolves and Siamangs can now "Chorus Call" and vocalize as a group. Could more animals do this later down the line? The crane, perhaps? Or other birds?
  • New climbing frame for animals that can use thin climbing pieces. If the siamangs can use it, maybe we can finally get brachiating orangutans?
  • Small habitat gates, good for low-walled enclosures.
  • Shop counters for the remaining shops that didn't get them in 1.8.

Hopefully lions can vocalise too

Happy with the pack but moreso because the building materials are fantastic--more modern/green architecture plus the potential to build detailed backstage areas.

Animal representation-wise, the big blind spots are in Latin American animals and in birds (even if aviaries aren't realizable, there are a lot of ground/wading/waterfowl birds that could be added to make the game a little less skewed towards big mammals)

If the new DLC provides the mature brachiation mechanics for Siamang, then we can expect the future DLC to have flyers and sloth.

On what grounds? Brachiation and flying are two very different things. Further pointing out that ZT2 had both brachiation and flying mechanics, even though limited. Neither is a new concept, just tricky to adapt into new programs.

The mechanic of holding the climbing frame should be the same

Alright, we’ve got a schedule for the lead-up to the pack in the form of a to-do list from a fictional PZ intern: there’s a bunch of non-animal-related tasks on there, but I can make an assumption about when we’re going to see each animal: https://mobile.twitter.com/PlanetZooGame/status/1535227287297302529/photo/1
Tomorrow: Przewalski’s Horse
June 13: Scimitar-Horned Oryx
June 15: Axolotl
June 17: Amur Leopard
June 19: Siamang
And I’m not just assuming, this; that to-do list has ten tasks on it, and tomorrow marks ten days until the release of the pack. All I gotta say is that it’s gonna be a long wait for the leopard. (How ironic that the first animal teased is gonna be the last one we actually see?)

Uuuuhm what? On what proof? Didn't hear this one on the modding server
Yes, and I hear that the hidden files contain the model of Shoebill. It probably will be announced in bird theme DLC.
Again where? Maybe I missed this one too, but shoebills are like the crane and flamingo, no need for it to fly

I don't know how much longer Planet Zoo will continue to support the game but I have a lot of species listed that I still want to see make it onto the game.
We know that we'll have support until the end of this year, from there we do not know anything
