No Owston's outside...
/QUOTE]
No they were in their box, only saw on the TV screen.
At one point both were awake so I waited for a while in hope, but they both went back to sleep! Last hope may now be Newquay....
I think you might be right...This is one of the greatest catches this year, but I don't think you can count it
I think you might be right...BUT owing to the fact flying squirrels as a genus are nocturnal pretty much exclusively then I'm leaving it here until @ZooBinh tells me it doesn't count and then I'm going to sulk and demand they're added to the countable list!

You need to get to Tropiquaria then mate, really easy to see, absolutely awful to photograph!Considering how difficult is to see any of those, you have right to claimAt 3 zoos, in a total 9 visits, I have never seen one of the other two species .But I didn't try hard, either

You can sulk all you want! But yes, you cannot count them, unfortunately. A great find regardlessI think you might be right...BUT owing to the fact flying squirrels as a genus are nocturnal pretty much exclusively then I'm leaving it here until @ZooBinh tells me it doesn't count and then I'm going to sulk and demand they're added to the countable list!

But they're clearly more nocturnal than raccoons and coatis, and probably more so than most crocodilians.......You can sulk all you want! But yes, you cannot count them, unfortunately. A great find regardless.
re NGSD; the ruling up thread was that they can be counted, or Dingo, but not both.Exmoor (24/07) -

Welp, it’s an imperfect list and too late in the game to make changesBut they're clearly more nocturnal than raccoons and coatis, and probably more so than most crocodilians.......![]()
It's staying on my list, you'll just have to remember to take it off my year total!Welp, it’s an imperfect list and too late in the game to make changes. I suppose you’ll just have to suck it up, buttercup
.
I'm grudgingly taking the squirrel off my list, not happy about it mind you, but it is what it is...Exmoor (24/07) -
