@Themonkeyguy1 Berlin haven’t had much luck with Tigers. Firstly Shakira the Sumatran Tiger born in the early 2000’s was rejected,secondly Dragan the Amur Tiger was rejected and now a trio of Young Tigers have been euthanised. My thoughts are with Berlin’s Tiger Keepers. They cannot catch a break. Berlin TP must be the most unfortunate Zoo in the world where Tigers are involved.

Berlin TP have bred close to 100 Sumatran tiger cubs. On the whole, they have an excellent success rate.

Shakira was a single cub. Though there are exceptions, I’ve known a number of tigresses who produce a single cub to have their milk dry up. This is possibly an evolutionary phenomenon to prevent them investing up to two years in a litter that contains a single cub - this effect is even more profound in Cheetah.
 
Question for the England based people here: Howletts received Aguia from Rheine in 2018 and was paired with Achilles in 2021. In May 2022 Tipah was sent to Howletts from Frankfurt and paired with Achilles. Does anyone know what happened with Aguia? Can Howlett host more than one female tiger, was she sent elsewhere or is she dead?

Aguia passed away last year, therefore Tipah, her niece, replaced her for breeding with Achilles.

I heard that Batu died at Aalborg in 2019, and that the sire of Bethari’s litter was her son, but I’m not sure if this is true or not.
Keisha moved from Benidorm to Parken Zoo in 2017, and in 2021 had a son with Tondi (who moved to Parken in 2020) named ‘Toba’.
Kerinci is the name of the female that lives at Fuengirola Zoo.
Jakarta, offspring of Babi x Jambi at Athens lives at Jerusalem Zoo. Kepala at Jerusalem died in 2021.
Zoja lives at CERZA Zoo. Her time at Sosto was only a temporary breeding situation.
Sigra at Reynou died in 2017.
