Two Indian rhino born in Europe were sent to Guadalajara in Mexico. One of them is Anjali, a female born in Beauval. The other one is Bali, a male born in Whipsnade but who was living in La Flèche.
A baby rhino is born to mother Sundara and father Belur in Branféré.
Another new holder of the Indian rhino will soon follow. The 14-year-old male Manas will move from Zoo Wroclaw to Cordoba Zoo in Spain in the coming days. There, he will later be joined by a female.

They recently received a female Indian rhino as well. 26-year-old Nova arrived from Lisbon Zoo.Fasano Safari in Italy became a new holder recently. They received 12 year old male, Sushsto from Fota Wildlife Park
Kiran arrived yesterday to La Flèche. She will be on show in the next few weeks.Kiran born in Wrocław in 2021, left the zoo today and went to Zoo de La Fleche. Interestingly, male waiting for her also was born in Poland (Byś from Zoo Warszawa, second Indian rhino born in Poland).
The 36-year-old female Narayani is also moving from Eindhoven Zoo to another zoo later this year. Soon, Eindhoven zoo will then get a young pair of Indian rhinos, with the hope of welcoming a calf in a few years.Gainda was moved from Eindhoven Zoo to Nurnberg.

Speculative though it may be ..., it could well be that male Qabid will be transferred up Continent to the facility that recently and to do will sent off its Indian rhinos elsewhere....8-year-old Indian rhino male Qabid at Edinburgh Zoo will move to another zoo in November. It hasn't been announced which zoo that is. The zoo hopes to welcome two new males in January 2025.
