3 Capybaras (1.2) were born on the 28th of September to Clementine and Augustus. I believe it's their second set of offspring after Satsuma (1.0) a year or two ago.

On April 18th, the zoo announced that they reopened the Lory Landing walk-through aviary exhibit to the public after closing it due to avian influenza.

A pair of dwarf mongoose pups were born on 24th Feb. Again to mum ‘Goose’, the father is ‘Stasher’. Marking the second time pups have been born at the park (and I believe the first time they’ve been bred there).

On April 22nd, the zoo named the mongooses Halo and Phoenix.

The pair, who just turned two years old, arrived at Drusillas Zoo Park on 24 May after being transferred from Wild Place Project in Bristol - where they were born.

A quarter of a million pounds has been spent building a custom enclosure to recreate their native European woodland habitat.

On June 11th, the zoo named the lynxes Ash and Friston.

A pair of silvery marmosets were born on 26th of April to Pearl and Bonny. Yet to be sexed, the park are running a competition to name them!
Two meerkats were born to Tamu and Tyson on the 24th of May and are starting to leave their den.

they’re the 18th and 19th offspring from the pair!

On June 27th, the zoo announced the names of the silvery marmosets (Alba and Luna) and the slender-tailed meerkats (Reggie and Ronnie).

On July 19th, the zoo announced that (0.0.3) black-capped squirrel monkeys were born and were named Lucia, Mateo, and Rafael.

On July 20th, the zoo announced that they renovated the Linne's two-toed sloth exhibit and the bath house which were reopened to the public.

A trio of dwarf mongoose pups have been born to Goose and Stasher, their third litter in this past year after Maverick (Aug 22) and Halo and Phoenix (Mar 23).

On September 11th, the zoo announced the mongooses' names, Jester, Merlin, and Viper.

On November 4th, the zoo named the capybara Marmalade, Squash, and Tango.

On December 27th, the zoo announced that they acquired (0.0.5) dwarf mongooses named Dayna, Ghislaine, Lamos, Steve, and Rich from the Howletts Wild Animal Park in Kent.

Drusillas has announced the birth of a red-handed Tamarin on the 10th of December 2023 to Isla and Kivu. Appears to be male as the name choices are Elton, Ozzie, Hendrix and Jagger.

They also announced that they had 60 new arrivals in 2023 and 36 zoo births. A healthy growth of the population! Arrivals included 1.1 yellow-throated martens, 2.0 eurasian lynx (Wild Place Project), 0.1 black crested macaque (Chester Zoo) and 10 Humboldt penguins.

Births included Echo the Linneaus' Sloth, Squash, Tango and Marmite the Capybaras, Pedro the Mantled Guereza and Jester, Viper and Merlin the Dwarf Mongooses.

On May 1st, the zoo announced that a (0.0.1) Goeldi's monkey was born, marking the first birth of the species at the facility in 10 years.

From their video and pictures it looks nicely finished and themed, lots of interpretation and signage. However, take that all away and it’s quite a short and uninspiring enclosure, I don’t think it actually does or provide much for the colobus. Very limited perching and roping.

Interesting....there's something that looks like a Pizza oven in there....
 
Unfortunately it doesn't appear to be much larger than their previous enclosure, the theming is quite nice but then again the lack of substantial vegetation and height of the netting makes it less than it could've been.
 
The park announced yesterday that four male yellow-breasted capuchins have arrived from Dudley Zoo - a new species for the park. Their names are Clint, Deet, Chops and Doyle.

From the wording it sounds like they potentially could become part of a breeding programme?

They also announced the birth of a silvery marmoset back on the 3rd of May.
