Anchor Coral and Bubble Coral aren't new, there are a few photos of both already around. Surprised there isn't more of Frogspawn.

A nice selection of aquatic species you've uploaded lately.

Perhaps the first photo of 'japonica' in the gallery labelled as such, but certainly not the first photo of this form in the gallery. I say 'form' here as japonica is not currently recognised as a subspecies - in fact, I don't think any sea turtles have currently recognised subspecies.

Yes, but very few identified to species level. Both are extremely messy species complexes, and whether all members of these 'species' even belong in the same genus is unclear. Very few photos of these corals in the gallery will be identifiable to species, as the polyps themselves are essentially identical - genetic testing or in-hand examination of dead skeletons is required to identify these corals with the slightest semblance of reliability.

I'm glad that the aquarium I took the photos from took their time to label their corals and anemones, even to a species level, so it doesn't really took a while for me to try to ID. Though it's not always accurate, their "melithaea ochracea" are labelled as an gorgonia sp.

Green sea turtles are one of those species where their taxa/subspecies status are debated wether they're valid or not, which is why I add the apostrophe to the label.

Thinking about this again, you're very right. A lot of the green sea turtles in other pictures could be what some consider to be 'japonica', but aren't labelled as so. That's like adding the Malayan elephant (Elephas maximus 'hirsutus') to this thread, despite a lot of pictures of the elephants in Malaysia already being present. My bad!

Potentially the only Bullseye Round Ray in the US, possibly globally but ZTL doesn't have the species on the website, and I can't find anything else about other Aquarium's keeping the species
