babirusa, anoa, most (all?) of the macaques, bear cuscus, dwarf cuscus, tarsier, a fair number of birds, at least some of the reptiles. Are there enough animals in captivity to do a Sulawesi exhibit justice?

If you mean overall numbers of individuals in captivity then only a few of those would qualify (babirusa, anoa, macaques, some of the birds), but if you mean in captivity irrespective of numbers then you could do a really good Sulawesi exhibit.
I would phrase it a "specialist" exhibit, because most of the species would be ones to appeal to lovers of the unusual; not so much for average zoo visitors.Agreed. It won't be a knock-your-socks-off exhibit, but it would be a nice one.
Well, it´s overlooked in the US, there are hundreds of wildlife parks focused only in local species in Europe. You could just look in the Gallery or the Forums.Ok, I think Europe it is. It's an untapped region, with loads of potential, and one that is almost entirely overlooked.
Very Nice. Specially Iberia. Not just Spain.![]()
Why focus on political divisions? Of course I'm already hearing it from a few UK people for leaving out their country![]()
I'm not sure how large of an exhibit you want to make, but I would personally love to see a European exhibit designed the same way you did for South America.
anyone could miss the UK, all tucked away down thereOf course I'm already hearing it from a few UK people for leaving out their country![]()

It´s just that Portugal is Spain Jr. for many people and I think we are as nice as these guys next door...Why focus on political divisions? Of course I'm already hearing it from a few UK people for leaving out their country![]()
Nope we are the 51st State!Heck, most Britons don't even think they're part of Europe anyway.

It's the 53th, you forgot Puerto Rico.

Iberia
Iberian Wolf
Iberian Lynx
Spanish Ibex, Roe Deer
Onager (substitute for extinct European Ass)
Camargue
