I agree with Blackduiker, the NBA championships won pre 1970 should not really count. Post 1970 the Lakers have 11 and the celtics have only 6. Many people also forget that the Lakers actually have 17 championships overall, one which was won in 1948 in the NBL (National Basketball League). Anyways...I wish the LA Zoo would do more to represent the LA sport teams.
Every Laker's fan loves playing the "post-70" card, its alright guys, what ever helps you sleep at night And I meant six, my bad. I wish more zoos in general would work with their local pro sports teams for sponsorship, p.r., etc. They are usually some the biggest attractions in a city or town. For years I have wanted Zoo New England to team up with the Boston sports teams to do something (Ironically Paul Pierce headed an illiteracy campaign at FPZ recently). Rumor has it that the Red Sox may get involved in some capacity but we will see. Sports and zoos, one of the best combinations

No, I route. If I root, wouldn't I be a plant I'm not one for spelling, I just take care of mega vertebrates, its what I do. Go Boston! Go FL! LA Sux! Enjoy your smog, CRIPS and police chases.
How ever we pronounce the name is correct. They arn't the Keltics. I love the hate from everyone, jealousy is a motherf'r. The price for being successful I guess, keep bringing it, I live off of it.
The Scottish football ('soccer') team Celtic is also pronounced 'sell-tick', depsite general agreement that the word in any other context is pronounced with a hard 'c' - as it refers to the Celts, who definitely aren't 'selts'...
