No, I route. If I root, wouldn't I be a plant I'm not one for spelling, I just take care of mega vertebrates, its what I do. Go Boston! Go FL! LA Sux! Enjoy your smog, CRIPS and police chases.
My don't we live in the world of make believe. "Enjoy our smog, CRIPS and police chases." loxodonta, you watch too much fictitious TV and Movie drama. LA has the best regulated air quality control in the nation, if not the world. The CRIPS have moved on to terrorize other cities; like in the Midwest, for the most part. And police chases?
I guess from the "CRIPS" and "police chases" crack, you're implying that LA must be the baddest, most dangerous place in the nation. Well, let's look at the facts. According to the annual FBI list of Crime Rate Rankings of US cities, where do we rank for 2010? Of the 400 major cities, LA is ranked at #158. Now not knowing what part of FL you reside in, let's take a tour of the state. Coming in at #31 is St. Petersburg. Okay, not really a zoo town how about at #42 Miami Beach. #46 Orlando. #51 Miami. #59 West Palm Beach.#89 Jacksonville. And #101 Fort Lauderdale. And your beloved Boston? #113.
And mind you, if you had done your homework, you'd know that mega cities like LA and New York, have had declining crime rates for years. LA being its safest since the 1950s! LA, which has probably 8 times more people than the largest of any Florida metro area! Oh, and by the way, New York ranked at #269! And my current LA suburb of Santa Clarita? #334!!!
And the other statement you made to the effect of "Panda's being overrated" sounds like a little bit of envy, though I do love the Koala as well; something California led the world outside of Australia acquiring. LA's had them since the early 80s. San Diego and San Francisco several decades earlier. How about Boston?
Lol, you wasted your time with your stats, I still think L.A.'s dump and you can give me any city in FL (tho preferably not Jax) to live in. And Pandas and Koalas are still over-rated in my opinion. Some people don't even know the difference between a sloth and koala when they see it, something I have witnessed at several zoo's. And the $ needed to exhibit these two species, like I said over-rated. And yes, New England in general is not known for its zoological facilities, which is the reason I don't currently reside there. But we have the best pro sports teams in the nation, 7 championships in a decade, that's 3 superbowls, 2 world series, 1 nba championship and a stanley cup. How's L.A.s football teams doing? Oh yeah, you don't have one, my bad
loxodonta the L.A. Lakers have won 5 NBA championships since 2000 (being 2000, 2001, 2002, 2009 and 2010) which is much better than the Celtics' one title in the past 11 years (being 2008).
Well, who said a lovely basketball-related dispute that's four months old isn't worth reading?... uh, no one.
Anyway, all that matters to me, as loxodonta mentioned, is that my Mavericks brought home the championship! For at least 5 years (since their 2006 defeat against the Miami Heat) people kept telling me the Mavericks sucked. But when their beloved Celtics/Lakers/Heat/Spurs, etc were bounced out of contention, who got the last laugh!? I DID!! HAHAHA...
Oh, yes, and very... uh... different enrichment, indeed.
What are you saying about the NBA now, Ituri? Are they all still losers? Actually, imo, they are, because all of the players who made the lockout last longer than it needed to by asking for a bigger portion of revenue split failed to realize that most of the money that they earn is coming from their fans' purchases at games. Selfish losers .
And Dallas; our roster's terrible. No championship for us this year.
