Happy Fourth of July, Americans! Of course, I recognize that what is often a joyous occasion may be less so this year, with the pandemic preventing many places from holding parades, barbecues, and celebrations as usual… therefore, I decided to move up my timeline and get my Name the Zoos Map...

In this alternate continuity, the entire Ciutadella Park is incorporated into the Barcelona Zoo; this proves tricky, as many culturally and politically important sites must remain the same.

In an attempt to better familiarize myself with the location of frequently mentioned zoos in the UK, I inadvertently created what I think could be a fun challenge. Embedded in this thread (and viewable in the gallery) is a road map of the UK, with white bubbles containing the numbers 1 through...

I've had the idea to design zoos for cities and countries that lack them, so here's my entry for a zoo in León, in Castilla-León, Spain. Feel free to suggest any city or town in dire need of a zoo or aquarium in the comments below! :D

This zoo was based upon a dream I had the other night. I intend it to be located in Illinois, not far from my aunt's house.

A crazy thought experiment of mine; what if the grounds of a modern zoo would house Prehistoric animals instead? I've done it with the Barcelona Zoo because it's the one empty template I've managed to create. Species list for the pavilions soon to be added in the comments below.

A re-avaluation and re-structuring of the Double Zoo I made 14 years ago. The zoo would be located in a tropical/subtropical environment, like Singapore, Brazil, Florida or Queensland. Species list coming soon!

A zoo I made for my girlfriend; she told me which animals/exhibits she wanted, and I put them all together! :)

Inspired by Daubentoniidae, I've decided to make my own take on how I'd improve/reorganize the Barcelona Zoo. This zoo is already aiming for less species with more space and geographic subdivisions, and I agree with those ideas, which I've applied.

This map is based on the progress of the Barcelona zoo, based on these directions it's taking: 1- Less animals with more space for each. 2- Separating the zoo in geographic areas (except for the primates for some reason) 3- The whole north sector of the zoo can only have "native" animals
