On April 22nd, the zoo announced that a (0.1) red panda named Coco is being transferred to the Philadelphia Zoo in Pennsylvania. Her last day at the zoo is May 2nd.

On June 9th, the zoo announced they have bought full-seated electric scooters to get around during the visit, named ScooterPals. There are 5 to choose from (lion, giraffe, rhino, leopard, black bear), and are accessible at the lemur building.

Sorry but i have to disagree. I rented one in Phoenix zoo and had a blast rolling around their Asian and African areas with my son.UGH. I hate those things!!

On August 17th, the zoo announced that (0.0.2) snowy owls were hatched on July 31st and August 3rd respectively. This is the first and second time in the zoo's history that the zoo has successfully hatched this species.
