Are These in Captivity? #2

Numbat isn't likely because it isn't even kept in captivity in Australia. Bilby is possible but not likely. Quokka is the most likely as it's already in Japan and Europe

Yeah how did Stuttgart get Quokka cause for awhile it was only saitama children zoo (excuse my Japanese its rusty);)

Numbat have been kept and bred in Perth Zoo for decades, so they are certainly around but unlikely to be exported.

A bilby import to Europe has been on the cards for about a decade now, but hasn't happened yet for various reasons. There is a possible scenario that once a European population is established that as US population becomes possible.

Quokka could already be imported now if you can find enough available animals and a willing Australian zoo...

Yeah do you you know what zoo was going to try to send bilby to Europe or a source

Oh also dusky pademelon I've seen them all over European zoos but awhile ago an Aquarium in California(aquarium of the pacific)had some but on ZTL it's a former species. But then I was watching A YouTuber "blakes Exotic animal ranch" based out of Florida and on the episode spin wheel and I'll buy the animal it lands on was emu so when he went to the place where the emu were for sale obviously private ranch the guy selling emus had albino Eastern grey kangaroo. And believe it or not dusky pademelon:eek: i linked it down below skip to about 4 minutes

These kind of challenges are what made some parts of the private trade miserable and make people believe it's that easy to own a personal managerie

We know Echidnas are in private ownership and possibly the dusky pademelon. It would not shock me if someone off the maps has a tree kangaroo or heck even a koala Although I think Australian government has those under control

You mean Bennett's and Lumholtz', right? Otherwise, they'd all be under control of the Indonesian and Papua New Guinean governments.

Nonetheless, I also believe no tree-kangaroos are in private hands.

Yep the Aussie ones

Why don't you check Zootierliste, which is for Europe accurate and gets you a indication for othre places.

Did we kill off Zebra duiker in captivity? Last I checked Cincinnati was the last holder
I know jentinks duiker was last at Gladys porter zoo but are the Zebras really gone?

Oh I heard Some Texas Ranches have Yellow backed duiker
What would be the chances of a Zebra Duiker or jentinks in private ownership it would still be considered captive but just maybe there is hope i love Duikers so much they are my Favourite Animal outside of AUSTRALIA that's why I ask this stuff:oops:
