Bronx Zoo Bronx Zoo 2012

Does the Bronx have Emus? I know there's suppose to be an exhibit for them on the side of the World of Birds exhibit and it's there, I've seen it, but I've never seen the actual Emus nor have ever seen a picture of them.

AnaheimZoo had a photo of one in WOB in February. There are also some in the Education Department I believe.

I didn't think it was a photo worth uploading, simply. It's a little out of focus, and there are probably 1,000 pictures of emus already in the gallery, anyway.

Great news!! I like Kihansi Spray Toads. Not that it matters much since the species has been reintroduced into the wild, but will the Bronx Zoo continue to display the species?

On the internet-site from Zooborns it is said that the Bronx continues to display the Kihansi Spray Toads.

I believe i heard at one time the bronx zoo has 3,000 Kihansi Spray toads so they have alot left.

2,000 were released so about 1,000 should be left. An amazing success story. I'm still skeptical weither the animals will do well or not as they seem to be getting most of their spray from man-made spinklers and something could go wrong very easily. I wonder why they didn't choose another waterfall?
