What animals are going to be in "Aliens Among Us"? Only I know is that they have all 5 types of vertebrates, and likely some invertebrates. I also know that the chameleon is a main animal.

After the king cobra taxonomic revision paper came out last week, I asked the reptile house about the male Malayan king cobra on display and they confirmed he is a Sunda King Cobra (Ophiophagus bungarus).

Pretty much all king cobras in the AZA that aren't Chinese Banded are O. bungarus of either Malay or Indonesian origin. This is the most common species in captivity.

Yeah. I have a conspiracy theory that "Aliens Among Us" is just a cover-up for the rebuilt World of Darkness, but maybe both will be there.

I don’t know why they don’t have chameleons in Madagascar! as there are numerous species indigenous to the island
Hopefully, World of Darkness will be reconstituted as a permanent exhibit

That would be interesting if so - but…there are photos of Forest elephants , Meinertzhagen Forest hogs , leopards and Mountain gorillas at Gorilla Forest and none of those species reside there

But this was art in an exhibit not concept art. Concept art usually shows what the exhibit will be planed around.
