so for my round I want to specify that answers must be accompanied by the reasoning behind the answer. No blind guesses. You have to be able to explain it, otherwise I have no idea how close people are to the correct answer.

Here's the riddle:

(A little hint, because it may be difficult, the answer is to do with the common name and not the scientific name).

Unfortunately the term "to buffalo" is so little-known by myself that I do not know it at all. The phrase, also, was not famous enough for me to have heard of it! (I googled it though).

So, not the correct answer I'm afraid.
