I'd it just me, or does Houston seem to have a baby giraffe almost every 9 months?

Also what other facility acquires Massai giraffes As Houston seems to have a large, constantly repopulating stock?
 
Waco and Lufkin both house Masai in the state. Waco recently switched after the deaths of their Retics.
 
Could be a little out of date but Masais could be found at the following zoos as of july 2013.

Good info. I am still curious of rate of giraffe births at Houston. Seems very frequent. Is this a normal rate and is Houston designated as a chief Masai breeder?
