8. Huxley's Bird of Prey centre - Red-footed falcon, New World vultures.

10. Paradise Park - Pesquet's parrot, Collared falconet, Red-headed bunting, Moussier's redstart
11. Tilgate Nature Centre - Raccoon dog, curlew, forest dormouse.
12. Aquarium de Montpellier - some nice ray species.
13. Pafos Zoo - cockatoos, many parrots.
14. ZSL London Zoo - 25+ visits, tiger cubs and the sunbirds.

Despite a rather slow start, this has been a fairly productive year - thanks in large part to the most ambitious jaunt around European zoological collections I've ever attempted in August and September 
as I've mentioned elsewhere on the forum I have yet to fully-recover physically and mentally (whether due to autistic burnout, pushing myself too hard mere months after catching COVID-19, or a combination thereof I am unsure) but it was more than worth it!

In 2022 I visited 4 old (And regularly visited in years past) zoos, as well as 3 new smaller ones, for a total of 7. I didn't visit anywhere more than once this year.

I posted my all-time total on another thread yesterday, but I guess I will join the fun and take this opportunity to reflect more on the 16 particular "zoos" that I visited in 2022. In total, this year I revisited 6 "zoos," but visited 10 others for the first time ever.
For some interesting statistics, approximately 43% of the zoos I visited this year were in MA, another ~43% were in NY, and the remaining 2 zoos were in other states (IN and CO). While I only visited zoos in 4 states this year, I am hoping to visit zoos in 8 states next year. I am also hoping to visit even more new zoos next year than I did in 2022.

Is it larger than a single room/a handful of exhibits? What qualifies as a 'zoo' can be somewhat subjective, but if there are 20+ terrariums or multiple rooms, it probably can be considered a zoo.

Minnesota Zoo (was there for a meeting and only went through the aquarium, Tropical House and the native animal areas near the entry.
Visited Melbourne Zoo but that was for a program launch and only saw one New Holland Mouse.

There's an "Insect Zoo" with a bunch of beetles, spiders, and other arthropods as well as a (closed when I was there) butterfly exhibit and some saltwater coral tanks. I couldn't tell you how many individual live animal exhibits there are between these areas in the museum, but those are the only spots there with live animals while everything else in the building is your typical natural history museum fare. I'm going to go ahead and say it's just shy of your "zoo" definition until I the day I go back and make an effort to count.
