Dozens of protected species from West Papua was discovered aboard a Indonesian Navy LCT (Landing Craft Tank) ship, KRI Teluk Lada. The animals were discovered during a ship inspection and were sent to BKSDA by the Navy. These species are planned to be released back into the wild.
They didn't specified in the page about what species that were smuggled aboard the ship, but if we go with the pictures provided, the species were sulphur-crested cockatoos, paradisaea birds, unknown green colored parrots (Could be fig parrots or male eclectus parrots), black-capped lories, three grizzled tree-kangaroos, an common spotted cuscus, and possibly an mountain cuscus.
