I do not agree with what she says at all as it would mean numerous animals shot or transferred to facilities abroad, where the conditions are probably worst.
We must remember that she is MP for Basildon and therefore, in her constituency, there is probably a lot of people who are against zoos after the horror of Basildon Zoo.
She clearly sees this as an opportunity to increase in her constituency. Another example of the constant political opportunism by all Uk political parties.
Furthermore, the Conservatives want to reintroduce fox hunting, as a party policy rather than a misguided MP searching for popularity. One MP should not make anyone change who they support but party policies should
