does anyone know any information about the lions at longleat.
like what group there in sex,children,date of birth where they were born?

Charlie - male
Naomi
Acia
Nola
Sattellite
Sky
One other female


Pride B (no breeding male at present)

Luna
Yendi
Jasira
Malaika
Mr Dudley
+ more cubs of luna and yendi

Luna and Yendi were both born at Longleat back in 2001 to father Mfue who is no longer at the park. (half)brothers to Luna and Yendi are Kenya and Lucani who if I remember rightly are both at Knowsley Safari Park.

Several years ago now a female named Comet was moved from Charlie's pride to be with her father at Newquay zoo. Ronnie, her father, has since died.

Kumali (last born to Mfue) was moved to Flamingo Land along with a female from the same pride and her cubs approximately four years ago now.
 
does anyone know who the mothers of luna and yendi are?
i amy still at the park if so what pride is she in?
 
I think amy may have been the mother of luna/yendi. She was in pride B. However, she seemed to 'disappear' at the same time Mfue did, not long after Kabir arrived at the park. Anyone else have any info?
 
There is only Kenya present at Knowsley Safari Park, the second male didn't take too well to the electric fencing, and kept trying to leap the fences, and was put down. Kenya has since fathered around 12 cubs.

Pride A are the offspring of Ronnie (ex Newquay) so are all half siblings at least.

Kumali (Flamingoland) has fathered several cubs with Zazzi, the female that left with him.

Amy, Mfue and a couple of other females where split from Pride B when Kabir arrived, they where quite old, so i presume they either died naturally or where put down, as the lion house could not hold 2 seperate prides within the one enclosure.
 
does anyone know the name of the children of amy,luna,yendi,sky,nola,naomi,acia,sattellite. if they have had children.
 
who is the father of malaika and jasira. who are the parents of mr dudley. when were malaika and jasire born?
 
I dont think all of them have names Nicola08 when Wallace arrived a Blackpool early this year he didnt have a name so Wallace was chosen :)
Not all Lions in zoos mainly in Safari Parks have official names but are given 'pet' ones by keepers that only they know about.
 
Sorry to reply again but where Kenya and Lucani the males that moved to Knowsley in around 2002/3?
I remember 2 males moving from Mafue's Pride at around that time so im pretty sure it could be them.

Are Comet and Connie the same animal? I didn't know that she and Ronnie were father and daughter?
