So if I do breeding off-exhibit it would be fine?I feel like the hornbills would eat any peachicks if the peafowl were breeding.

The hornbills would also be extremely likely to kill/eat metallic starlings, white-breasted wood swallows, and laughing thrushes. Truthfully, I wouldn't trust any hornbill species outside the genus Tockus with anything smaller than them.I feel like the hornbills would eat any peachicks if the peafowl were breeding.
Another mix I have in mind to ask about is mixing either Rhinoceros or Wreathed Hornbill with Green Peafowl Pavo muticus, White-breasted Wood Swallow Artamus leucorynchus, Metallic Starling Aplonis metallica, and Spotted Laughingthrush Garrulax ocellatus?
I would avoid it.I worry my suggestion might sound completely idiotic (and if it is I do apologize) but would Malayan Tapir and Dhole be able to mix peacefully?
Cool. After I posted this I did some research and it did say that dhole, alongside tigers, are one of the only threats a tapir faces in the wild.I would avoid it.
A good thing to remember is that even if a predator isn’t naturally known to prey on a given species in the wild (perhaps having other, preferred prey species), confining them together in a relatively small space completely changes the calculus- and pretty much always in favor of the predatorCool. What about 11000 m2 grassy / dirt exhibit, with a dry moat. It would have multiple raised elongated islands, surrounded by rocks and planted with trees and shrubs, with multiple artificial burrows and hiding holes between and under rocks, holding:
Giraffe (1,6), Hartmann's zebras (1,4), white rhino (1,3), greater kudu (1,6), springbok (0,0,10), ostrich (1,3), dromedary (1,2), warthog (1,1), cape porcupine (1,2), rock hyrax (0,0,8) and zebra mongoose (0,0,10)?
If smaller animals would dig any further burrows, these would be ad-hoc covered with heaps of branches, to prevent larger ungulates from stepping into them.

That sounds like a pretty silly idea…..For instance, the entirely unnatural mix of meerkat and European souslik which was briefly (very briefly) visible at Edinburgh a decade ago![]()
Mix of Tufted Deer, Smew, Bearded Reedling, and Marbled Teal? How would it work?
No problem with this mix.Mix of Tufted Deer, Smew, Bearded Reedling, and Marbled Teal? How would it work?

Haha, knew it would probably be a bit on the idiotic side but thought I’d ask anywayAppology accepted.
Next mix (and again, if it's idiotic just say so, but I apologize in advance) is Hippopotamus with Softshell Turtle, Helmeted Turtle, and Patas Monkey/Swamp Monkey
Yes or no?
