On February 17th, 2025, the zoo announced that a white-faced saki monkey was born on January 19th (a first for Folly Farm) which is now on exhibit.

- Emus have been moved from there old encloser to the former reindeer encloser.
- The hole south American monkey area is now blocked off and looks like it is being redone
- Blue cranes are now in the old antelope yard next to the giraffe yards
- Dusky pademelons have moved into the encloser behind the bongo where the blue cranes where
- a sing in the old dusky pademelons enclosures saying that the blue cranes will be moving in
- The red panada was off show due to work being carried out in the enclosure

But I thought they still had the Banded mongoose... it was listed on their website when I checked not long ago.The following are no longer in the collection
- Banded mongoose
- Black swan
- Burmese rock python
- Chinese water dragon
- Domestic reindeer
- Kirk's dik dik
- Reeves muntjac
This may be off show (due to enclosures being redone ) or left the collection
- Common squirrel monkey
- White faced saki
there web site animal list doesn't get updated often there a some animals they have now and some they don't. they do have dwarf mongoose still thoughBut I thought they still had the Banded mongoose... it was listed on their website when I checked not long ago.
Folly Farm have gone out of keeping a good few mammal species over the last few years like the Ocelot, Leopard Cat, Azara's Agouti, Central American Agouti, Six-banded Armadillo, Western Sitatunga, Nile Lechwe etc.
I didn't know until the other day that they no longer hold Kirk's Dik-Dik or the Reindeer.
