On January 13th, a baby reticulated giraffe named Pandora was born.

On April 2nd, the zoo announced that a baby Bennett’s wallaby was born.
On April 23rd, it was announced that the zoo adding some more climbing structures for their chimpanzees.

On May 17th, the zoo announced that a white-handed gibbon was born.
On May 25th, the zoo introduced the public to their updated spotted hyena exhibit, with a new viewing window and small pool.
On May 29th, the zoo announced it has acquired 2 cheetahs. They are sisters named Zuri and Nya and they will be introduced to the other cheetahs soon.

On June 9th, 2 prairie dogs were born at the zoo.

On June 13th, the Petting Zoo was opened to the public.
On July 15th, the zoo announced that a pair of Patagonian cavies were born.

On July 17th, the zoo reopened it’s indoor Reptiles, Amphibians, and Invertebrate building to the public.

On August 13th, the zoo will open it’s registration for the Sloth Encounters.

Also the zoo has announced births of these animals: red kangaroo, reeve’s muntjac, cheetah, aoudad, yak, sika deer, elk, Grivet monkey, De Brazza’s monkey, two-toed sloth, emu, mandrill, siamang, warthog, Vietnamese pot bellied pig, vicuña, Black-capped capuchin monkey, as well as in the Deer Forest and the African plains mixed exhibit.
