Its better to look at it like this - What career do I want to do when I am finished with my education? I see you claim Chicago as your location the degree you want isn't going to have much practical use in Chicago.
You have to have a plan from Day 1 on knowing what you want to do with flexibility and options in that plan. The days of "Im just going to college" are over. Its too big of an investment in time money and effort to get that kind of a degree without a specific career in mind.
Wildlife Biology means you likely are looking for a move to Texas or out west and its a hard career path. Do you really want to invest the time, money, and effort to stop with the Masters (or shudder the bachelors) and end up managing a Deer Farm in Texas? If you are going to commit to a Masters in Zoology just go for the D.V>M.. You don't pick the major and pick the career when you are done. You pick the career now and you tailor the major to what you want to do.
