TV Series you are into

Yeah same here really. I'll watch the interviews if it's someone I like or that I know is really funny.

I watched the interview Jimmy did with Emily Vankamp (Revenge, Capt. Amer. Winter Soldier), and I was reminded of why I prefer characters over actors. I watched an interview with Sheldon (from Big Bang), and was also disappointed.

I saw Sean Connery interviewed on Parkinson once and realised just what a brilliant actor he was, as he didn't really have too much of a personality.

I watched the first couple of episodes when that started over here, but it was on at a dumb time and I wasn't hooked initially so never kept watching. I think it got moved to a different time as well. You'll have to let me know if its any good.
so Sleepy Hollow is on (I think) its fifth episode now. I still like it. I wonder if it will be able to keep up its story without getting tiresome but so far no complaints. It's light entertainment. Although I do note that Ichabod Crane is still wearing the same clothes he crawled out of his grave in, and at least two or three weeks must have passed in the programme's time-line. The other characters could have at least given him a new shirt or something.

Read this a couple months back. You might find it interesting. 10,000 Birds | The Problem with Eagles

relating to that article, when I was in Melbourne a lady stopped to ask me if I was looking at the birds on the river (I was holding binoculars) and then asked if I had seen all the wedge-tailed eagles in the trees further back and expressed her surprise because she had never seen so many wedge-tails together in one place before.

The eagles were actually swamp harriers.

One of our neighbours called out the snake catchers because a huge snake was behind their airconditioning unit. It turned out to be a Blue Tongue Lizard. :D

A very common scenario.

a series called Resurrection has just started in NZ and I just watched the first two episodes. It is about the dead rising in a small American town. So far it seems interesting.

To be honest my first thought if I was in such a situation would be "zombies". Easy to test for - check for a pulse.

Fall-back option: vampires. Are they active by day? Yes. Not vampires.

Third: g-g-g-ghosts? Try to put your hand through one. Can't do it? Not ghosts.

So that only leaves aliens using the bodies or likeness of dead people, or evil souls returned to Earth by Satan to do evil biddings.

Or Lucifer has risen and is breaking the seals in order to start the biblical apocalypse.

Oh wait.... that was the focus of one of the seasons of Supernatural....

Oh well, still had the dead coming back to life in a small American town.

I am currently watching Michael Bay's "The Last Ship". It isn't the best action-thriller out there, but it isn't the worst. I like Michael Bay's stuff. I also like the lead actress, Rhona Mitra, because she is easy on the eyes - she starred in one of the Underworld movies, and she was a Lara Croft (Tomb Raider) model back in the day.

Guillermo del Toro's "The Strain" is also interesting, albeit a bit slow. I believe that it's based on his book about vampires - not the sparkly teen kind, but the really scary, monsters with no soul. After about 5 episodes, I'm still not sure where it's going, yet I persist.

And my newly discovered guilty pleasure is "Devious Maids". It's a drama-comedy that is very similar to "Desperate Housewives". It's light, mindless comedy about maids who work in Beverly Hills mansions.

Those kind of shows can be pretty funny. I've occasionally watched Kevin Hart's "Real Husbands of Hollywood".

You play games, Thylo? Surely you must enjoy Tomb Raider? ;) My favourite Lara Croft is probably Karima Adebibe. But damn, both she and Rhona Mitra are pretty old now....

I don't usually play video games, no.

You have an iPad and watch 'Walking Dead' right? If so, then check out the 'Walking Dead' game. It's like episodes of the series where you are a character and get to make decisions. The first episode is free, so doesn't cost a penny to try.

I watch TWD but do not have an iPad. Though I do know of the game and it looks really cool. They've also released a sequel to it.

Is anyone else watching parts of the Simpsons marathon on FXX? It's amazing to think that non-stop 552 episodes will be playing for 12 days straight.
