TV Series you are into

Did anyone else get the little joke at the beginning of episode 4? When Oswald Cobblepot introduced himself using the alias Peter Humboldt. Was it just me???? :D

I only watched up to Episode 2 so far, but I am enjoying the series. What's the joke?

Ok, so here's my 2015 update:

The usual:
- Revenge
- Once Upon a Time
- The Walking Dead
- Person of Interest
- Homeland
- Gotham
- The Blacklist
- Dracula, unfortunately, was cancelled after just one season

New shows
- How to Get Away With Murder
(Ok, it's a silly premise, but it's easy to get hooked.)

- Agent Carter
(Remember Captain America's love interest in the first movie? Well, she has her own TV show set in the post-World-War-II era. I watch two episodes, and gave up.)

- American Horror Story Freakshow
(I watched just one episode, and found it to be more gruesome than scary, so I didn't watch any more.)

Oooh, 2015 TV updates!

Shows I'm currently watching:
-Banshee (just started - impressed so far)
-Grimm (halfway through first season, getting repetitive)
-Gotham (epic, although Aust TV is useless at actually screening it)
-Parks & Recreation (perfect, sometimes to hysterical to watch when eating...)
-Supernatural (way behind on this, but want to catch up)
-Teen Wolf (awesome!)
-True Blood (second to last season dragging a bit)

I'm very excited about How To Get Away With Murder, which is scheduled to start airing in February. Also eagerly awaiting new seasons of Orange is the New Black, Shameless.

I have abandoned Game of Thrones, got too complicated and stressful to watch - same with American Horror Story.

Teddy, you watch a lot of TV!!

Zooboy, I didn't even realise that there was a Teen Wolf TV series! The synopsis sounds like Twilight for werewolves.

I have a lot of spare time and a trace of insomnia lol.

i haven't even counted the movies and 1-off specials like documentaries and sporting events (rare, but i would watch things like conor mgregor fighting, olympics, world cup, all ireland gaa finals, darts wdc etc) or the shows that i used to watch but stopped a while ago haha

So do you avidly watch every single episode of the listed TV shows? What I mean is, I watch a segment of Jimmy Fallon or a rerun of Big Bang Theory off and on, but they wouldn't make my list. Conversely, I have to watch every single episode of The Walking Dead as soon as it is released.

You're missing out nanoboy! :D Its fairly different in tone from Twilight, but there are a few minor similarities. I think Twilight was a romance at its heart, which this certainly isn't. Its more along the lines of Angel or Supernatural, although not "monster of the week" like those were (at least in their early seasons).

My update for 2015 - shows I'm waiting for on the TV:
  • NCIS
  • NCIS LA
  • The Black List
  • Person of Interest
  • Homeland
  • Dr Who
  • Longmire (S3) if they ever get around to screening it down under.
  • The Big Bang Theory (although I miss many episodes of this)

DVD TV series I have and will probably view this year:
  • Friends (S10)
  • The Bletchley Circle
  • Time Tunnel
  • Land of the Giants
  • Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea
  • The West Wing
  • The Two Ronnies (S5)

:p

Quick update: if you love musicals, Monty Python, and camp comedies like 'Robin Hood: Men in Tights', then you simply must have a look at the new ABC (America) comedy, 'Galavant'. It's the filler for 'Once Upon a Time' during its mid-season break. The songs are catchy, and it's hilarious. At least try the first episode - it's just 22mins (without commercials) so you would not have squandered too much of your time if it's not to your liking.

I just watched the trailer, it looks very amusing, I will add it to my list of shows to check out. Rather surprised that it is an American production, it seems like a more British effort.

Im into a lot of animated series and anime, some notable examples would be

Adventure Time
Gravity Falls
Avatar: The Last Airbender
Pokemon (It's a guilty pleasure for me)
Fairy Tail

Also, I love to watch reruns of Good Spongebob Episodes (ie: Survival of the Idiots, Chocolate with Nuts, Shanghaied, Dunces and Dragons, Club Spongebob)

Excellent. Be sure to tell me what you think.

They speak with British accents, and the Queen, from what I read, is Australian. Oh, and Vinnie Jones is in it - he makes everything worthwhile with his wining smile and endearing personality. :D

AverageWalrus, I don't watch cartoons, but I used to be a fan of South Park before they went downhill.

Currently the only cartoons I watch are Bob's Burgers and a small Hulu-produced show called The Awesomes starring a bunch of old and current SNL voices like Seth Meyers, Kenan Thompson, and Amy Poehler. It's more or less a comedy about a team of reject superheroes trying to fill the shoes of their predecessors.

"Z NATION"..More tongue in cheek than The Walking Dead but very entertaining for zombie fans of the Romero persuasion. You will either love or hate it.

First season on US Netflix.
