A visit to Nanjing Zoo yesterday yielded nothing new for my list. Surprisingly, the zoo only has three ungulate species.
I'm going to repost my whole list. Even though we are now using the split/unsplit mechanic (which I fully support), as we're halfway it's a good idea anyway. If anyone spots any other mistakes please let me know.
Somewhat to my surprise, I remain in the running. I think that being in Asia is actually helping me because there is no overarching body with phase-out/coordination policies. As long as I keep moving and visiting I stand a chance.
One point: I am assuming if we add a species as pre-split, but then subsequently gain the ability to list it as two or more splits we can amend our lists. This seems reasonable I think. As an example I have now added the Thamin I saw in Singapore as they are actually a full split post-Groves.
