Dik-diks and meerkats in the same exhibit sounds a bit risky... I hope the zoo knows what it's doing.
Good news, as Beauval didn't manage to breed the Sloths for over 10 years.Birth of a Linnaeus' two-toed sloth (Choloepus didactylus).
#zoodebeauval #baby #animals #cute #conservation #sloth"

For all the "zoo freaks" with the idea to visit this year Beauval, the golden monkeys are simply wonderful. Beautiful, calm, peaceful and easy to see and be shooted by their behaviour and by the design of the enclosure.
There's a lot of public communication about the Golden Monkeys in Beauval, because of their proper rarity and bright coloured hair, and because they complete the famous Chinese wildlife collection of the zoo including the Giant Panda family. Is it really busy at the golden monkey exhibit ? It seems to me more a species for us zoonerds than the general audience. I'm visiting in july on my way back from Spain
God forbid the general audience enjoy rare animals...It seems to me more a species for us zoonerds than the general audience.

In fact many Zoochatters oppose renting GSN Monkeys b/c they prefer the rents to be invested for saving more endangered species rather than being paid to China. Based on the video released by Beauval and Pairi Daiza, looks like GSN Monkey is more popular to general visitors than I thought, I initially thought most audiences may think "it is just another type of monkey"Many visitors are willing to see these primates, not only the zoo nerds like us.
