I visited the new Galapagos tortoise building on a visit last week, it's looking much better than their old house, but does anyone know if there are plans to introduce other suitable animals to this environment?

Further to my earlier reply, visited London Zoo last week and the area where Animal Adventures took place has been surrounded by security fencing. This is the proposed site for reptile houseAnyway, back to the zoo
Is there any inclination as to what the 'major new exhibit' is going to be?
As far as I am aware, there are no current plans to introduced any other animals into the new Galapagos tortoise home.
By nice to see Jimmy & Yoda back in their gibbon enclosures.
That’s a big area for the babirusa, sadly they seem to spend a lot of time indoors, where visitors do not have access
Muntjac have been in various places; are the barbirusa in the Cason?
The indoor quarters for the babirusa are in the Casson house which visitors cannot enter

If the Casson House ever reopens to the public, it is years away.
Which imho is a great shame.
The remaining female muntjac (after the male died) was moved to the Three Island Pond area.

Is it true that all the Sulawesi Macaques are being transferred to Whipsnade as I read on that thread? What was the reason given for that? It seems a shame as I've always liked them and with the Colobus moving to their new digs, you would more space could be found for them somehow? Only three were visible when I went today though.

That structure seems huge for the one species or do they intend to add other animals too? It seems already a while ago since announcing ... Big question when will they start?
Any news on what next for the Asiatic lions now 3 females moved out?

The pandemic held up work on the Snowdon, so the opening has been delayed. The existing mesh was taken down last year.
The 3 Asiatic lionesses have been replaced with one young female from Paignton (Arya). She and male Bhanu have been mixed for a little while now.
There haven't been Anoa at London for many years; I've been visiting since 2014 and they had already left the collection then.
