I visited the new Galapagos tortoise building on a visit last week, it's looking much better than their old house, but does anyone know if there are plans to introduce other suitable animals to this environment?
Further to my earlier reply, visited London Zoo last week and the area where Animal Adventures took place has been surrounded by security fencing. This is the proposed site for reptile houseAnyway, back to the zoo
Is there any inclination as to what the 'major new exhibit' is going to be?
As far as I am aware, there are no current plans to introduced any other animals into the new Galapagos tortoise home.I visited the new Galapagos tortoise building on a visit last week, it's looking much better than their old house, but does anyone know if there are plans to introduce other suitable animals to this environment?

Where are the colobus moving too?Is it true that all the Sulawesi Macaques are being transferred to Whipsnade as I read on that thread? What was the reason given for that? It seems a shame as I've always liked them and with the Colobus moving to their new digs, you would more space could be found for them somehow? Only three were visible when I went today though.
The Snowdon Aviary.Where are the colobus moving too?
