Singapore Night Safari Singapore Night Safari News

If I'm not wrong, they're renaming the Trail to Pangolin Trail as well? Kinda like what happened to the Wallaby Trail when our Devils came in

I thought the initial plan was to have a short trail that highlight local animals, that's why I was quite surprised by this info of the merging of the existing trail and the new "parallel" trail.

Either some of the animals require more time to settle in or for some other reasons.

Quite confusing that the word "replace" was used. I thought the Pangolin Trail would be separate, although it does converge with Fishing Cat Trail at the new Otter exhibit, and thus can be considered one big loop.

I'm aware of a delay in the installation of educational interpretives. It will only be completed in end August.

Well I guess that was the plan? Maybe somewhere down the line they figured they wanted to give the Scaly Anteaters more of the attention

@LeMandaiEnthusiast‧ so fishing cat trail would be part of the Pangolin Trail, but not connected?

They're both still connected. They link up by the new Otter enclosures

I might visit the Night Safari On the 8th of August. Is there anything new or specific I should look out for? Any recent updates or interesting features would be great to know!

If you haven't visited yet this year before, the seladang/Malayan gaur have returned. The pelicans have been on the map for a while but aren't in yet but the Dalmatian + spot-billed flock from the zoo would be slated to move into the otter tram habitat eventually

Now that the East Lodge fish tank has been boarded up, does anyone know what is going to take over that area?

Given the delay in the education interpretive signs,is it possible that the pangolin trail might open before these signs are fully installed, with the interpretivies added later?
