Do you have a source for the sifaka? ZTL hasn't been updated yet, and I have no access to ZIMS to corroborate this claim.
My source does not want to be identified. I also have no access to ZIMS. I don't think ZTL records births.

I was wondering if people on here can remember when the Hide over looking the pool was built and can people help me find out which species have been seen in this area please?

ZTL does record births - if you click on an entry, it will sometimes say ‘nachzucht’ (German for offspring, I believe), followed by the year of birth and the gender ratio. But with certain species and zoos, there isn’t enough information for this, of course. My source does not want to be identified. I also have no access to ZIMS. I don't think ZTL records births.
Ztl is also not an official body. It is updated by many people, and I have found it is largely out of date and inaccurate on many UK zoos.

@Alwaysevergreen: Correct. But tell me a better source with free access. Also, afaik, everyone - including brits for british zoos - is invited to update zootierliste to make it more accurate...
So then do the later part of my post...
By the way: Some animals on ZTL are/were indeed indicated as off show/behind the scenes ("Hinter den Kulissen").
Yes please?Do you mean captive birds?
I will only remove current holdings if I have been specifically been told the species has moved on or passed away by a member of staff at the relevant collection.
