I have a stack of pics that I have absolutely no idea what species they are, so I am eager to post some to get them identified by you lot.
if you don't know what they are, how will you know who gets them right? Maybe put them in the Identification part of the gallery?

He stated in "The River" thread that he never visited Zoo Cafe because he thought it was about food outlets in zoos! LOL!

I haven't confirmed anything yet - mammal, bird or reptile.

I can confirm nobody has named all three ... yet!
hmm, double-double-bluff? Maybe it is a binturong paw, but not a mangrove snake flank...? Indeed this is "the beautiful game".

My guess would be that the mangrove snake is accurate, I could be overlooking a species but I can't think what other snakes share that patterning.

Looks more like a Mangrove to me but maybe a Boelens Python instead?

Or are you just waiting for one person to say Binturong, Nicobar Pigeon and Mangrove Snake

I pretty much did that in post #46. I shall be interested in finding out the solution! :D

Well, to drag out the suspense a bit more - Nicobar pigeon and Mangrove Snake are both correct.

Binturong is incorrect.
Lumholtz Tree Kangaroo is incorrect.
Emperor Tamarin is incorrect.

And I suspect some people might kick themselves when they learn who owns the paw.

:p

I think I just got it! Its a giant panda isn't it!? A paw that grips like a hand but isn't a hand....

Giant Panda is incorrect.

:( then I give up

.......red panda?

It looks like a hand but I can't turn it into a primate's hand, so I might as well stick with the panda idea even if it really should be black rather than grey.......

Ok boys and girls, I think I know what it is, kind of, but I can't narrow it down any more. Well, it's really my wife's suggestion: macaque!

Which macaque.... well, I can't be more specific. :D

Chlidonias: your logic serves you well, my padawan - the paw that grips like a hand but isn't a hand.

Red Panda is correct.

well I must admit I am surprised I got that (eventually!). Its amazing how grey it looks in the crop, but I thought I could see the claw on the back foot behind the paw/hand so primate just didn't seem right.

Anyway, here are three parrots, not particularly tricky, but you have to get all three correct to move on.

The tail isn't long enough, but I'll say it any way: 1. Crimson Rosella

2. Orange-bellied parrot

3. Superb parrot
