The zoo teased a new species on Facebook. It appears to be a female nyala.
Indeed unless its a very rare color variant of Lesser Kudu. I'm guessing they will be occupying the old Dromedary Camel exhibit. I wonder how many they have?

The animal turned out to be a one-year-old Common Eland from the Wilds. The zoo plans to mix it with the oryxes and combine their habitats.

Major let down! Every photo they used was a stock photo of a giant eland. They also said no one had guessed the species yet after someone had guessed common eland.

Sorry, @SusScrofa! Your one guess was correct, they were just lying about what they had.

It's an interesting species for sure-- there aren't any zoos in the area with eland so it will be a first for me. Unfortunately, with it being in the camel exhibit, it doesn't look like we'll see more camels here anytime soon.

I was hoping they'd replace Leena & Baby with a male/female Bactrian pair but Elands aren't anything to complain about! Maybe since he's young he could be trained as an ambassador animal and people could do meet and greets with him like the ones in Toronto.

I didn't mean to complain-- it's great we get to see a more unique species. I'll miss seeing the camels there, though since they're such a classic zoo animal. I'm excited to see the new and incoming eland herd when I return next year.
