Over 80 species of fish, coral and algae were recorded at Pitcairn for the first time.

The title of the article is misleading - there are 80 species that have never been recorded at Pitcairn before. However, they dropped a remote camera down over 1600 metres and found eight new species of undescribed fish.

I'd still be interested to know if the Sea World [Queensland] specimen is still alive.
