Anyone got any ideas what they will be?
I don't think it will be anything spectacular.
Anyone got any ideas what they will be?
what will happen to islands in danger when islands opens will there a name change or a total re development
Spirit of the Solendon would be OK,
Are cassowaries going to be the only species representing Papua New Guinea in the development?
If so, why not just drop them and perhaps Islands in danger would make an ideal PNG exhibit, tree kangaroos, cuscus, echidnas, crowned pigeons, Pesquet's parrots, birds of paradise and others.
The Bornean orangutans are going to be moving to the new exhibit in Islands, and the Sumatran orangutans are likely to remain in the Realm of the Red Ape.
Recent Q&A from the islands site.

Hi Kristin. The Bornean orangutans are going to be moving to the new exhibit in Islands, and the Sumatran orangutans are likely to remain in the Realm of the Red Ape. We also have plans for the tiger enclosure, but they're not confirmed yet.
Interesting - I was under the impression that the Sumatrans were due to move into Islands and the Borneans would move into the RotRA.
Today her outdoor enclosure is part of Realm of the Red Ape, and upon the completion of ‘Islands’ she will be moving along with the other Bornean Orangutans into Realm of The Red Ape completely.
